A ] who is also secretly the ] of Castle Rock, Dodd rapes and murders ten women in the duration of Johnny's coma, sparing not even a 15-year-old girl. Any time smaller enemies spawn into the level, make them a priority, as they may drop health pickups.* ''Film/TheDeadZone'' (1983): ], the ], lacks the horrible backstory of his book version. Both of these phases will repeat with slight differences. You'll have to kill each of these before Belial makes himself vulnerable again. Two smaller enemies will appear on either side of the screen, dispatch them individually, being aware of any projectiles coming from behind you and dashing away when the one closest to you winds up to bite you. He'll spawn swords that will dash at your last location so keep dashing during this and finally he'll shoot a cluster of projectiles that will spread apart as they travel, giving you a chance to dodge between them. The fight starts with Belial firing lasers at you, which are easily dodged as you attack his head. This is a challenging, long (for this game at least) boss fight consisting of multiple phases but by now you should have multiple health and attack power ups at your disposal. Finally, a spinning disc will appear next to him periodically throughout this phase, make sure to pay attention to when it appears and get ready to evade it a few seconds later.īelial is the final boss of the game, found after completing World 3. When he flies to the center of the room, get away from him and be prepared to dodge his projectiles and when he slams the ground, ignore him in favor of dodging the energy blasts. Overlap him as best you can and do damage. For the most part, you want to be aggressive during this phase, when he's either up against a wall shooting a laser or firing projectiles as he flies around the room. After you deplete his health, the second phase will start. Your best opportunity will be after he dashes across the room repeatedly, followed by Dasael taking a knee to recover. For the first phase of the boss, you'll want to keep your distance and wait for him to do one of his attacks before approaching and doing damage before backing off again. Just remember to time everything so that you're dodging on the ground or on the walls and attacking in between those attacks.ĭasael is the boss of the third world and can present quite a challenge if you arrive unprepared. If you spend most of your time on the walls or attacking, you won't see much of this new attack and the boss is otherwise the same. After depleting its health again, a third phase will start, which is similar to the second with an additional attack from its mouth. Try to time it so that the laster or burst fire attacks begin while you're still on the wall, making it easier to dodge, then jump to the boss for some damage in between attacks. Once you deplete its health bar, you want to start using the walls to climb high enough to dodge over to the boss's body, where you can continue attacking. Start off by attacking its head while dodging the puddles of acid and the set of three lasers. Those will be the hardest part of this platinum but you should have plenty of practice at this point.įor this final step, you'll need to play through Conquest to find any mini-bosses you haven't already beaten and farming artifact kills.īeelzebub is pretty tedious the first few times you fight it until you get used to maneuvering around the room so this might be the first instance in the game where the dodge button is necessary. Take your time going through each of the game's challenges, saving the Deathrush and Godslayer challenges for last. See End of The Tyrant for a full playthrough of the game.Ĭompleting this step will earn you the following trophies: I don't recommend trying to beat the game without Hellbreak initially, as the learning curve may too steep. Just focus on beating the game to start, learning the mechanics and the various enemies. Step 1: Complete Conquest mode and each individual world without using Hellbreak As with most roguelikes, you may find yourself overwhelmed to start but with three short worlds and plenty of powerups, it won't be like before you're hacking your way to the final boss. Rising Hell is a blood-soaked battle through an elevator shaft to Hell, only in this case things get much worse the higher you go.
